The Flamenco Centre Canberra provides an opportunity for aspiring Flamenco guitarists wishing to train in the discipline of live dance accompaniment as distinct from solo playing or concert recital playing.

This privileged exposure allows you to develop an understanding of the principles and mechanics of live accompaniment: to read dancers’ movements; recognise typical percussive rhythms; and learn how dance structures fit together. This is also a valuable opportunity to drill your playing technique in a formal environment.
